Installation Of (PDS473P) Remote Transmitter
Caution: Please make sure that the medium of connecting part has been well sealed prior to the pressure process connection; Damage to the isolation diaphragm connecting to the medium shell be avoided during the process of assembly.
Installation Position:
The transmitter should be installed below the remote flange with a vertical height _ 1.3,so that the drop of the remote sealing liquid should be added to the transmitter body as much as possible. If the above requirement cannot be met due to setting conditions or objective reasons, the installation location shall meet the following formula:

If h < 0, the transmitter should be installed at a position with vertical height - h (absolute value mm) below the remote flange;
If h > 0, the transmitter should be installed at a position with vertical height <h (absolute value mm) above the remote flange.
Zero Adjustment:
If the pressure in the measured container can be adjust to 0%, section 3.3.2 of this manual should be refereed. Firstly press key [S], switch to mode 2. Then press both [+] and [-] at the same time, the current pressure of the transmitter will be set at the lower limit value. If the pressure in the measured container cannot be adjusted to 0% section 3.3.2 of this manual shall be referred as well. Firstly, press key [S], switch to mode 2. Then press both [+] or [-] to adjust the current value corresponding to the
pressure. For calculation, please refer to formula 3.
Measurement Range Setting:
The Measurement range of the transmitter has been set before leaving the factory. If any the change have been made to the system conditions, its has to adjusted. There are two ways for adjusting it: with reference pressure is much easier and it can meet site requirements. Detailed Setting procedures and requirements can refer to the "Machine Setting " chapter and HART associated device instruction. If machine Setting is selected, assemble the key protection cover and the shell with screws when the setting is finished.
Startup And Shutdown:
After installation and commissioning is completed, the transmitter can enter into normal operation state. To shutdown the transmitter, proceed with the following procedure: disconnect power supply to the transmitter; Remove the pressure in the process; Remove the transmitter measurement parts; And remove the transmitter body.

PDS series pressure transmitter comprises a complete range of instruments for measuring gauge, differential and absolute pressure signal into a standardized analog output current signal of 4mA~20mA. Pressure transmitter is fixed installed apparatus and the enclosure is made of aluminum alloy ADC12 or stainless steel JISG5121-2003 SCS14, including a glass window cover and a plastic key cover.
Electronic circuit of PDS pressure transmitter are comprise terminal board, main board, display board and acquisition board. Four PCB boards are installed in the aluminum alloy or stainless steel enclosure with IP67 and the terminal board and acquisition board are encapsulated completely by two COMPONENT ADDITION SILICON RUBBER WR7306. The terminal board has two different versions, one for standard version, and other one one is lighting protection version.
